We have the same issue with an HP laptop, Nexus 7 tablet, and also with an iPod. I have an LG Spectrum that I use the hot spot to connect my computer to. I've not been able to access some websites this way from my PC. Basic and reliable sites such as delta.com and microsoft.com. My PC can access these sites through when I use other sources of internet (MiFi for example). We just had our BT Broadband activated on the 5th Feb 2013 and everything looks good. However we are experiencing problems accessing well known and familiar web sites whereby the browser (IE) just sits there waiting for the website to load and nothing happens for minutes and then fails. Websites which do not load are : www.facebook.com Google is one of them that’s often repeatable but, not the only site. Sometimes I can do a search for google then click in the link that comes up and manage to connect to the site when typing the address in doesn’t work but, not always. It says cannot connect to server or internet but I can type in another address and goes straight to it.

Here is the interesting part- an AT&T employee lives near me and also uses the fixed wirelss hotspot in his home, and hits the same cell tower as me. He cannot access the sites either! So this proves that it is not my IP being blocked.
