If I run an internet test using the router diagnostics it will often show a “pass” for the DSL connection and the PPP server but a “fail” on pinging the default gateway. (See attached screenshot). This is the gateway automatically assigned by plusnet. If I disconnect and reconnect and get a new gateway address this is usually OK.

For debugging purposes I am trying to ping the default gateway from a VM in Azure via RDP, but I do not get any response. Our firewall/ default gateway is a Juniper Networks SSG-140. The problem: Every 20 to 30 minutes, while all employees are in the office (doesn't seem to happen after hours), our Small Business Server loses the ability to communicate with the default gateway. I can't ping the default gateway, can't get out to the internet, etc Ping statistics for 192.168.28.1: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),-----I tested connecting a PC to te1/0/1 port on the switch setting it to an access vlan 280 and I am able to ping the PC, which indicates that inter-vlan routing is working. So any ideas as to why I can't ping the vlan interfaces on the switch except for one?
