How to block traffic coming from known malicious IP addresses
I need to block people from using the Tor network from within my local network. I won't go into the details of why, other than it has to do with Silk Road style websites and their misuse because of addictions. I have a simple network, a few computers running through a single ADSL modem router to access the Internet. The TOR client creates its own self-signed SSL certificate using a random common name (domain name) that changes after approximately every 30 minutes. After going around and around with this scenario without success, I decided to try and block access to the TOR exit nodes from our network.
